Core-Periphery      

1.  This is the relationship between MEDCs and LEDCs.

2. Core areas are MEDCs where there is greater development and concentration of industry.

3.  LEDCs are outside the core areas and so are periphery area as they are less developed.

4.  Often the periphery is dependent on the core.
